About Us

About Us

Since 1981, The Eastside Church of Christ, Albany, Ga has sought to serve the purpose of providing a place of worship for those East of Albany, to stay true to God's Word, take the Gospel to All, and to serve God acceptably. We have been in our current building since 1999.

Eastside's membership is made up of Black, White, Hispanic, and Asiatic. Everyone is Welcome! They have classes for all on Sundays and Wednesdays with an active program of helping those in need, having services in nursing homes, providing a bus program, supporting mission programs in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, providing a Bible Correspondence course, and send mailing to all of East Albany residents several times a year. Yearly, they seek to have several Revivals, a quarterly fellowship meal and an annual Fall Festival. So come and be a part of a great family of God!

Jesse Jackson, who was seeking to establish another congregation in Albany, came to be with us and became our full time minister on June 21, 2017. We are working to build a strong work for God. We believe that God has "much people in this city". We seek to be a Church that shows it's desire to reach the local people and to be a Church that continues to be mission minded.
